JCCRP Pesach Appeal
The Jewish Community Council of the Rockaway Peninsula has announced its Pesach Maos Chittim appeal to the Rockaway and Five Towns community.
In its capacity as a local social service provider, the JCCRP has identified an important need that local residents can help to ameliorate.
At least 300 families in our midst do not have the necessary funds to make Pesach.
Depending on family size it costs approximately $3,000-$3,500 to celebrate the holiday in the proper way.
Fortunately, we have wonderful organizations like Yad Yeshaya, The Davis Memorial Fund, Met Council on Jewish Poverty and local rabbonim as well as The Combined Passover Fund that are able to help and we commend them, but there is still a need that has to be filled.
Your donation to the JCCRP Pesach Appeal is tax deductible and 100% goes directly to those in need.
For your convenience, you can donate by credit card via the JCCRP website www.jccrp.org
